1Safe™ Small Business Server (SBS) takes advantage of the features in the 1Safe desktop application and adds server features to it including the ability to backup MS SQL and MS Exchange files while the applications are running. In addition, since 1Safe SBS runs as a service; admin users do not have to be logged into the server to have backup schedules run as scheduled.

It provides simple and fast file protection, easy restore, and quick access to all files with powerful file-management capabilities.

Backing up open files

1Safe does not provide the ability to backup open files on it's own. Rather, we work with St. Bernard Software and their Open File Manager application to allow 1Safe to backup open files. 1Safe 5.x and beyond works with St. Bernard's Open File Manager.
